Sombra, hermana mía,

hija del sol :

Tú que vas a mi lado

eternamente

duplicando mis gestos

en una copia exacta.

Tú que no me abandonas

un momento,

ni en el día,

ni en la noche,

ni en mis sueños,

proyectada en la nada

por una luz de adentro . . . 

Tú que has ido conmigo

a todas partes,

sin amar,

sin sufrir . . . 

Cuando yo muera

te dejaré en el mundo

cargando mi dolor  !  . . .

               Hoy abrazo a mi Ciudad : 

            " Santiago de León de Caracas "

Desde las originales esquinas de la Ciudad,

en ese ir y venir de tantos acontecimientos,

te fuimos moldeando tu figura tropical,

siempre de buen semblante y bellos encantos.

Fuimos creciendo contigo, como tus grandes admiradores,

por diferentes senderos, por tus hermosos rincones,

con las miradas soñadoras, con los atributos propios,

cada día y noche, en cada sol, en cada luna.

Y si es verdad, te adornaron tu nombre varias veces,

"la Ciudad de los Techos Rojos" o "la Sultana del Ávila"

y más allá de las palabras, nos abrazamos contigo

hoy como siempre. pensando, sonrientes, vibrando . . . 

a los pies de la Montaña Sagrada . . .

En el Camino a la Escuela para aprender . . . 

En la Felicidad generada por la Libertad . . . 

Asi brota la semilla . . . en campo fértil.

Asi abre El Creador . . . la Esperanza en cada corazón.

Franz Peter Schubert ( German:  31 January 1797 – 19 November 1828) was an Austrian composer of the late Classical and early Romantic eras. Despite his short life, Schubert left behind a vast oeuvre, including more than 600 Lieder (art songs in German) and other vocal works, seven complete symphonies, sacred music, operas, incidental music, and a large body of piano and chamber music. His major works include "Erlkönig", "Gretchen am Spinnrade", and "Ave Maria"; the Trout Quintet; the Symphony No. 8 in B minor (Unfinished); the Symphony No. 9 in C major (The Great); the String Quartet No. 14 in D minor (Death and the Maiden); the String Quintet in C major; the Impromptus for solo piano; the last three piano sonatas; the Fantasia in F minor for piano four hands; the opera Fierrabras; the incidental music to the play Rosamunde; and the song cycles Die schöne Müllerin, Winterreise and Schwanengesang.

At the age of five, Schubert began to receive regular lessons from his father, and a year later he was enrolled at his father's school.^[6] Although it is not known exactly when he received his first musical instruction, he was given piano lessons by his brother Ignaz, but they lasted for a very short time as Schubert excelled him within a few months.^[7] Ignaz later recalled:

Appreciation of Schubert's music while he was alive was limited to a relatively small circle of admirers in Vienna, but interest in his work increased greatly in the decades following his death. Felix Mendelssohn, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms and other 19th-century composers discovered and championed his works. Today, Schubert is considered one of the greatest composers in the history of Western classical music and his music continues to be widely performed.

Carl Maria Friedrich Ernst von Weber (c. 18 November 1786 – 5 June 1826) was a German composer, conductor, virtuoso pianist, guitarist, and critic in the early Romantic period. Best known for his operas, he was a crucial figure in the development of German Romantische Oper (German Romantic opera).

Throughout his youth, his father, Franz Anton [de], relentlessly moved the family between Hamburg, Salzburg, Freiberg, Augsburg and Vienna. Consequently he studied with many teachers—his father, Johann Peter Heuschkel, Michael Haydn, Giovanni Valesi, Johann Nepomuk Kalcher, and Georg Joseph Vogler—under whose supervision he composed four operas, none of which survive complete.^[ He had a modest output of non-operatic music, which includes two symphonies, two concertos and a concertino for clarinet and orchestra, a bassoon concerto, a horn concertino, two concertos and a Konzertstück for piano and orchestra, piano pieces such as Invitation to the Dance; and many pieces that featured the clarinet, usually written for the virtuoso clarinetist Heinrich Baermann.

Weber's operas Der Freischütz, Euryanthe, and Oberon greatly influenced the development of the Romantische Oper (Romantic opera) in Germany. Der Freischütz came to be regarded as the first German opera, Euryanthe developed the leitmotif technique to an unprecedented degree, while Oberon may have influenced Mendelssohn's music for A Midsummer Night's Dream and, at the same time, revealed Weber's lifelong interest in the music of non-Western cultures. This interest was first manifested in Weber's incidental music for Schiller's translation of Gozzi's Turandot, for which he used a Chinese melody, making him the first Western composer to use an Asian tune that was not of the pseudo-Turkish kind popularized by Mozart and others.

His operas influenced the work of later opera composers, especially in Germany, such as Marschner, Meyerbeer, and Wagner, as well as several nationalist 19th-century composers such as Glinka. Homage has been paid to Weber by many 20th-century composers, such as Debussy and Stravinsky. Mahler completed Weber's unfinished comic opera Die drei Pintos and made revisions of Euryanthe and Oberon while Hindemith composed the popular Symphonic Metamorphosis of Themes by Carl Maria von Weber, based on Weber's lesser-known keyboard works and the incidental music to Turandot.
